Wall in the basement is getting done finally!! I just have to figure out how I can do for the door!?

Today was the last day for the boat show.  People at Brech Marine took us to the Landry seafood restaurant last night and they had such good food there.  They also had sashimi and I was surprised to see that.  We spent a long time and it was fun! I finally got home around mid night!  Brech Marine people are very humble and good. I immediately understand why they can stay in this marine business for such a long time.

Well, my 2010 boat is getting ready at Basscat factory now.  I will have a Puma FTD with the new Yamaha 250 SHO engine.  I can’t wait to see my boat soon!

The Jaguar in this photo is for Basscat team mate Russ Lane’s boat.  He picked a good color combination. I like Black/ Red with silver pinstripes.   The storage capacity of this boat is amazing!

This winter, I have been trying to build the office wall in my basement.  It has been too cold to do a lot of work, but it is finally getting done with friends’ help.

The main reason for this job is to keep warm air in the office area.  First floor stays much colder in winter and hard to keep the warm air inside.  I hope this wall job will be done in a few days!

Today was the opening day for the Birmingham boat show in Alabama.  I got to visit Brech marine booth (http://www.brechmarine.com/).  They had the new Jaguar, Puma FTD, Pantella series and Sabres on the floor.  They had the one with Yamaha 250 SHO also and it looked very well.  Scott was talking to many people there and I finally got to take a picture with him.

They have nice colors there and I will be at the show on Friday afternoon again.  If you want to see the all new models of Basscat, come and see us there!  I can actually explain what makes Basscat/ Yamaha combination boat work very well in rough water, too!

I have been waiting for these rods for a long time!  I was glad that these rods arrived here safely.  Shimano put them in a super heavy duty tube for me.

These Fahrenheit series rods are designed to maximize the performance by the combination of super light weight and the heavy duty quality.  They are 7′2″ Medium heavy action, and perfect for many applications such as 1/2-1 oz spinnerbaits, bigger crankbaits like Muscle deep 15, and top water lures like the Bow stick and bigger Mikey series.  I usually have three of these rods in my boat with different lures.  I am not a big man, but I do not get tired after days of fishing with these light and strong Shimano rods.  The best combination with Shimano DC series reels can maximize the casting distance and the power of this equipment.

It was a crazy night for around here last night.  I went Wallmart and I noticed it was so quiet there, and people looked at me like why I was there!?  I forgot about the National championship football night!!  Alabama won this, but it was a good game.  It was also interesting to see how much salary each college football  head coach make each year.  They make more than 4 million dollars!! Wow! Maybe fishing industry will get to that point one day, and it will be nice to have a weigh in show with that many people at the stadium.  Kota

Well, it might be a good time to take some time to read this new Basspro shops catalog that I just received.  It looks like there are some new products in there.

Jason came to my place and we had a lot of fun.  We did not have much time to spend together last year to talk about fishing and other business things.  He has been super busy running his Adventure Advertizing agency for more than a decade now.  I remembered about 12 years ago when he was about to start his own business.  That time, we talked about our dreams and future.  He wanted to created his own magazine, and he did it!  and I wanted to fish full time.

Every year, our dreams are getting bigger and bigger, and we are happy to be able to chase our dreams this year again!

The year of 2010 is here!  I hope you guys are having a good holiday time and we all catch more fish this year!   I am still fishing in this cold weather.  I went out fishing with Captain papa Doug and we had a lof of fun.  We did not catch many fish, but caught good fish. Water temp is getting into 40’s now, but they still bite our baits! Here papa Doug caught with jig and Sasuteki craw trailer.
